Next, they take digital X-rays of your teeth and gums to measure your bone volume and to look for signs of infection. If your teeth and gums are healthy and you have plenty of bone volume, they move forward with treatment.

All-on-4 implant surgery

The second step in the All-on-4 implant treatment process is surgery. Before placing your implants, the team administers a local anesthetic to numb your gums and mouth. Once the anesthesia sets in, they surgically place a series of implants — four on your top arch and four on your bottom arch — into small incisions in your gumline. 

Recovery

Following surgery, you return home and your mouth heals. While your mouth heals, your bone grows around the implants, fusing them to your jaw.

Smile restoration

Several months later, you return to Dental Arts of Beverly Hills. At this appointment, your provider takes impressions of your gums and sends the impressions to a lab that manufacturers the base for your All-on-4 prosthetics.  

Once this process is complete, your provider attaches your new arches to your implants. You leave the office with a vibrant, radiant smile.

How do I care for my All-on-4 implants?
